About the Shepparton Beefsteak & Burgundy Club

Established in 1960, the Shepparton Beefsteak and Burgundy Club has been a cornerstone of the local community, bringing together gentlemen with a shared passion for fine food, exceptional wine, and convivial fellowship. As the 57th club to be chartered under the Beefsteak and Burgundy Club Inc., our establishment marked the beginning of a rich tradition in Shepparton.

Over the decades, the club has upheld its founding principles, fostering camaraderie among its members through monthly dinners held on the first Thursday of each month. These gatherings offer members the opportunity to indulge in curated culinary experiences paired with exquisite wines, reflecting our commitment to the appreciation of gastronomy and viticulture.

A significant aspect of our club is the meticulously maintained wine cellar, a testament to our members’ dedication and discerning palates. This collection not only serves as a repository of fine wines but also as a reflection of our club’s history and the collective journeys of our members through the world of viticulture.

The club’s enduring legacy is also marked by the recognition of dedicated members who have contributed significantly to its growth and vibrancy. Notably, only three Life Memberships have been awarded since our inception, underscoring the value we place on exceptional service and commitment .

As we look to the future, the Shepparton Beefsteak and Burgundy Club remains steadfast in its mission: to celebrate the joys of gastronomy, foster enduring friendships, and contribute positively to the cultural fabric of Shepparton.
